2023 Toyota Land Cruiser USA, Prado, Price, Canada

The North American, South American, and European versions of the 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Price, and Canada are all available.

The legendary off-road vehicle has been updated after a long hiatus. The 2022 version is all-new and improved in every way imaginable. Since the new model is completely redesigned from the ground up, it is reasonable to assume that Toyota will not make any major changes to the Land Cruiser in 2023. We anticipate a familiar design, while slight improvements are always conceivable, such as new standards and functionality, new color options, and similar things.

The overall structure, however, will not change. You can depend on a top-notch off-roader that is loaded with optional and standard off-road features. At the same time, it's a high-end sport utility vehicle with a refined engine and comfortable seats.

The 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser will likely debut in the fourth quarter of this year, as no major updates are planned for the model.

Model of the 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser

Since the 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser will be in production for the second year of the current generation, we don't anticipate any major changes. Instead, we are placing our faith in the same design, which is now built upon the TNGA-F platform. Dimensions like as wheelbase, approach and departure angles, etc. were mostly maintained from the previous generation. The new version, on the other hand, is more easier on the body and has greater structural rigidity.

The ride quality of the latest model is improved thanks to the adaptive variable suspension's latest iteration. The ride quality on paved roads is better than ever, and the off-road capability has been upgraded as well. Four-wheel drive, a center-locking differential, hill descent control, many drive mode options, a camera that can be set to show topography, and a host of additional off-road capabilities are standard on all versions. The GR model adds even more features, such lockable front and rear differentials, improved off-road settings, and a slew of unique aesthetic touches.

Interior

The 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser will maintain the same ultra-luxurious interior as the current model. The new dashboard's sleek design can be attributed to the high-quality components it's made from. In addition, there is a plethora of high-tech extras, such as a 12.3-inch display for media playback. The instrument cluster has both digital and analog gauges, which creates a very sophisticated appearance.

We've already established that the new generation is roughly the same size as its predecessor. The new model's third-row seats are extremely cramped, and the cargo room is average at best, but this is a trade-off for the vehicle's superb off-road performances. However, the first two seats offer enough of legroom and a pleasant seating experience. When behind the wheel, you'll find yourself in a roomy and supportive set of front seats.

Powerplants for the 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser

In addition to the exterior changes, an all-new set of engine options was included in the recent overhaul. Miniaturized and more fuel-efficient V6 engines have replaced the larger V8 ones. The new 3.3-liter turbodiesel is the primary option in some countries like Australia, and it produces roughly 304 hp (227 kW) and 700 Nm of torque. But there's also a brand-new 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine. About 409 horsepower, this one offers respectable performance. A new 10-speed automatic transmission is standard with both engines, and it performs admirably.

Another option is a 4.0-liter V6 engine that uses natural aspiration and can produce up to about 270 horsepower in some regions. A 6-speed automatic transmission from a previous generation is paired with the engine.

Last but not least, rumors of a new 275-horsepower turbo four-cylinder engine have surfaced. Allegedly, this engine could come in some areas as the base choice. The government has not yet commented.

Features

Although certain surprises in this aspect are always possible, we are very sure that most things are about to remain the same. Consequently, even the most basic trim levels ought to provide such conveniences as a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, 7-inch digital screen in the instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 10-speaker audio system, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, an 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat, heated and ventilated front seats, quad-zone climate control, wireless charging, a head-up display, and many more.

The list of included amenities is so extensive that there is little room for additional add-ons. Sunroof, memory seats, second-row seats that are heated and ventilated, a center cooler, a power tailgate, etc. are still available as options.

What Will the 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser Cost and When Will It Be Available?

We hope to see the 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser on sale sometime in the last quarter of the year, without bigger price modifications. The current model has a starting price in Australia of about AU$127,990, whereas the Middle Eastern market starts at about AED 230.000. Examples of direct competition include the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, the Infiniti QX80, the Land Rover Defender, and others.
