2023 Toyota Sequoia SR5 Pros/Cons
SR5 is the standard 2023 Toyota Sequoia variant. No more 5.7-liter V-8. Every version of this giant Toyota employs a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V-6 engine (Toyota sells it as a 3.5-liter unit), an electric motor between the flywheel and torque converter, and a 10-speed automatic gearbox. This hybrid combination generates 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque and drives the rear wheels or an optional four-wheel-drive system. The 2023 Sequoia has enough power to pull passengers, goods, a trailer, or all three.
SR5 sports 18-inch alloy wheels and a power moonroof. It boasts heated seats, an 8.0-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. Standard 8-speaker audio and 3-zone temperature control. Even though the 2023 Sequoia SR5 has a smaller 8.0-inch screen, Toyota's new infotainment system is impressive (the larger 14.0-inch screen is shown below).

Sequoia TRD Pro is a three-row off-road SUV. Mechanical modifications include TRD-tuned Fox internal-bypass shocks, an aluminum TRD front skidplate, a selectable locking rear differential, and Toyota's Multi-Terrain Select driving modes. The Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro has a heated steering wheel, second-row captain's chairs, and TRD-branded seats and shift knob. TRD-specific elements include a roof rack, grille with a light bar, and grille-top marker lights. The Sequoia TRD Pro has offset 18-inch black wheels. The TRD Pro begins at $78,395 with 4WD.
