Honda may revamp the Pilot. Since the Pilot Sport replaced the entry-level LX model in 2022, the Pilot's basic price rose $6,500. This may indicate a higher 2023 Pilot starting pricing. The Pilot currently costs over $40,000.
The new Pilot should have a naturally-aspirated V6 engine like previous models. Honda has no plans to add a hybrid or plug-in hybrid model. Honda expects a roughly 50/50 split in sales between the smaller 2023 CR-V and 2023 CR-V Hybrid when they arrive this fall.
